OH MAN. As the holiday season revs up, I’m counting down the days ’til I’m homeward bound (16 days to go! Mom, you just did a little fist pump didn’t ya?). And with said homecoming fast approaching, I feel it necessary to mentally prepare myself for the only “hey-we-haven’t-talked-in-forever” question people ever seem to ask (or be remotely interested in for that matter) “So… anyone special in your life?” Cringe.
Please save your empathetic “oh don’t worry you’ll meet someone” head tilt and consider this little gem from Oscar Wilde instead. I’m begging you. Please.
For the record, you can all rest assured that you’ll all definitely know if when there is someone worthy to report on. I promise.
